Courtney Rea Owner and Events Manager Courtney founded Avant Couture Events in 2007 in Orange County, California. Highly motivated and driven by her passion for weddings and events, she has now successfully established her business in Sydney, Australia. Courtney has years of experience, training, and education making her highly qualified for any job. Over the past six years Courtney has partaken in destination wedding planning, arabic wedding coordination, floral design, event production, sponsorship, community events, event marketing and business development. Academically she has completed courses in event management, business management, graphic design, media, photography, film, and certification courses in wedding planning. Recommendations We only had two months to plan our wedding. Courtney was great about working within our budget, which was very low, and managing our short time constraints. We brought in a specialist for decorating the venue, but Courtney ended up handling it herself to reduce the cost. She even went to the flower mart the morning of our wedding at 2 am to select and deliver the flowers! Courtney was great! She selected an excellent caterer and her event crew did a great job! I didn’t worry about a thing. I received a lot of compliments on how nice everything looked and how smoothly the event went. Courtney was very confident and more assertive than I expected. As a wedding planner, these are important qualities. She was very detailed. She obviously loves to create a fun, beautiful event. She has a passion for this business.
